I wasn’t in San Diego, in fact I’m on the other side of the world in Uganda. Seriously check my location. Even though I am a million miles away I felt the nerd vibe. This weekend was filled with a whole of a lot of goosebumps, screams, and a constant “WHATT???!” from my mom every other minute whenever I yelled from excitement. Here are some of my favorite trailers and news coming out of SDCC 2017!

My Definitive Ranking of Every Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie (so far…) [UPDATED]

My favourite Christmas gift, without a doubt, was my Marvel Comics encyclopedia that gave the history to every character, fictional location, and alternate universe that has ever been created by the comic giant since the date of its publishing. This encyclopedia sparked my love for Marvel Comics and eventually my love for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Since the release of Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk back in ’08, we’ve gotten 16 movies that have introduced new characters from all over the galaxy. Now we’re looking towards a third and possible final Thor movie, the first ever Blank Panther movie and  the first entry in the two part Infinity War! Before I get a little too ahead of myself, I thought I should rank my favorite MCU films thus far. So here it is, my 16 favorite MCU films ranked from worst to best.

*Now including Spiderman: Homecoming

Spiderman: Homecoming Review [Spoiler Free]

Finally, FINALLY I got to see Spiderman: Homecoming tonight a little after a week since its release. This film looked extremely promising based on the teasers, trailers, dedication and deep care the cast showed for this project, especially Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spiderman) and it really didn’t disappoint. Maybe it’s a little premature to say this but Spiderman: Homecoming may just be my favorite spidey film to date.

This encyclopedia sparked my love for Marvel Comics and eventually my love for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Since the release of Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk back in ’08, we’ve gotten 15 movies that have introduced new characters from all over the galaxy. This Friday, the universe will get a little bigger with the release of Spiderman: Homecoming,  the 16th entry into the MCU.  Based on the trailers, TV spots, and current word of mouth, Tom Holland’s Spiderman looks very promising; possibly the best cinematic portrayal of the character to date. Before I get a little ahead of myself, I thought I should rank my favorite MCU films thus far. So here it is, my 15 favorite MCU films ranked from worst to best.

The End of All Things!! Thor: Ragnarok Trailer is HERE!!!

Out of all the projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the Thor films had to be my least favorite. They are most likely everyone’s least favorite. By the looks of this trailer, Thor: Ragnarok will not only be my favorite Thor film but most likely my favorite film of the MCU. It probably will be yours too…..

Comic Book Anxiety

The largesx-men-apocalypse-poster-psylocket collective rant on the internet has emerged after the release of Batman vs Superman. Reviews were mixed and personally I have a love-hate relationship with the movie. BvS was not on the top of my watchlist this year and was definitely not at the top of my comic book movie watchlist. That goes to the under discussed X-Men Apocalypse which looks and will be amazing (I hope). I don’t understand why this movie hides behind the shadows of Captain America Civil War and BvS because the cinematic iterations of the X-Men have been around for over a decade; longer than any other superhero franchise. I find that I am more anxious to see Doctor Strange and Suicide Squad than Civil War due to my slight disdain to the last MCU film Age of Ultron. But as time approaches to its premiere I’ll probably get super excited for Civil War. Which comic book movies are you most anxious for in 2016 and let me know what you thought of BvS in the comments below.
